Stable Channel Update for Desktop

The stable channel has been updated to 62.0.3202.89 for Windows, Mac
and Linux which will roll out over the coming days/weeks.

Security Fixes and Rewards

Note: Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a
majority of users are updated with a fix. We will also retain
restrictions if the bug exists in a third party library that other
projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed.

This update includes 2 security fix contributed by an external
researcher, detailed below. Please see the Chrome Security Page for
more information.

[$TBD][777728] Critical CVE-2017-15398: Stack buffer overflow in QUIC.
               Reported by Ned Williamson on 2017-10-24

[$7500][776677] High CVE-2017-15399: Use after free in V8. Reported by
                Zhao Qixun(@S0rryMybad) of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team on
                2017-10-20

We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with
us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever
reaching the stable channel. Many of our security bugs are detected
using AddressSanitizer, MemorySanitizer, UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer,
Control Flow Integrity, libFuzzer, or AFL.

 Stable Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Stable channel has been updated to 62.0.3202.82 (Platform version:
9901.66.0) for most* Chrome OS devices. This build contains a number of
bug fixes and security updates. Systems will be receiving updates over
the next several days.

If you find new issues, please let us know by visiting our forum or
filing a bug. Interested in switching channels? Find out how. You can
submit feedback using ‘Report an issue...’ in the Chrome menu (3
vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser).

 Chrome for Android Update

Chrome for Android has been updated to version 62.0.3202.84; the update
will be available in Google Play over the next few days.  A list of all
Chromium changes in this build can be found here. This release includes
a security fix contributed by an external researcher.

We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with
us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever
reaching the stable channel.
