A specially crafted URL could be used to create a cross-site scripting attack on RoboHelp installations. Adobe recommends users update their product installation using the instructions provided below. Affected software versions RoboHelp 8, RoboHelp 7, RoboHelp Server 8 and RoboHelp Server 7 for Windows Solution Adobe recommends users update their RoboHelp and/or RoboHelp Server installations by applying the relevant update(s) using the instructions below: Download APSB11_09.zip. This .zip file contains two files: wf_status.htm wf_topicfs.htm To apply the update to your RoboHelp installation, follow the steps below: Extract the files from the APSB11_09.zip folder to a temporary location. Back up the files "wf_status.htm" and "wf_topicfs.htm" from the "/RoboHTML/WildFireExt/TemplateStock" folder. Replace the files "wf_status.htm" and "wf_topicfs.htm" in the "/RoboHTML/WildFireExt/TemplateStock" folder with the updated "wf_status.htm" and "wf_topicfs.htm" files extracted from the .zip file. Regenerate flashhelp/flashhelp pro (for RoboHelp Server) output. Severity rating Adobe categorizes this as an important update and recommends that users apply the latest update for their product installation by following the instructions in the "Solution" section above.
