Impact A security vulnerability in the Logical Domains (LDoms) Manager (ldm(1M)) may allow a local unprivileged user to circumvent SPARC Firmware password protection and thus gain unauthorized access to data or gain elevated privileges on the system. 2. Contributing Factors SPARC Platform: * Logical Domain Manager 1.0 without patch 139395-02 * Logical Domain Manager 1.0.1 without patch 139396-02 * Logical Domain Manager 1.0.2 without patch 139397-02 * Logical Domain Manager 1.0.3 without patch 139398-01 Note: The x86 Platform is not affected by this issue, as Logical Domains (LDoms) software is supported only on the Sun SPARC Platform.
