VULNERABILITY SUMMARY:
A potential security vulnerability has been identified with HP
OpenView Operations which could allow an OVO operator to
gain unauthorized elevated privileges on remote systems that
are managed by OVO.

BACKGROUND:
OpenView Operations offers functionality allowing operators to
execute actions on remotely managed systems to investigate
and resolve issues reported by OVO.  There is a potential
vulnerability which could allow unauthorized access to actions
which have not been configured for the operator's use.

      Note: To determine if an HP-UX system has an affected
            version, search the output of
            "swlist -a revision -l fileset"
            for an affected fileset.  Then determine if the
            recommended patch or update is installed.
