Background Hewlett-Packard Company has learned of a defect in the use of the Software Distributor's swinstall command on releases of HP-UX 11.00 and 11.11, which incorrectly provides views of file data normally not permitted by a user. B. Fixing the problem The recommended solution is to retrieve and install the appropriate patch: PHCO_25875 11.00 PHCO_25887 11.11 C.
